Growing Instructions:

1. Open the kit along the perforated line, disposing of the remaining cardboard to reveal the fully colonized sawdust block.
2. Using a sharp knife or scissors, create an 'X' in the plastic underneath.
3. Lift the top of the box to find the sprayer and instruction booklet. Fill the sprayer with tap water and generously spritz the plastic where the 'X' was made. Ensure at least two spritzes daily, or more in dry climates.
4. Place the kit in the most humid part of your home, away from direct sunlight. Recommended locations include a kitchen counter close to a sink. The mycelium will sense oxygen, producing mushroom 'pins' or baby mushrooms.
5. Pins will typically form in 5-14 days. Once pins appear, mushrooms will grow rapidly. Harvesting is usually ready 2-5 days after pin formation.
